The 2 Tone Story

Se denomina 2 Tone a un segundo resurgimiento del ska, acaecido en Inglaterra en 1977. En ese año, un grupo de jóvenes ingleses decidieron experimentar con el ritmo, añadiendo un poco más de rapidez y crudeza al sonido. Así surgió lo que se conoce como la "segunda oleada del ska" o "Two Tone".

Esta es una recopilación con las bandas que protagonizaron la segunda ola del ska a finales de los setentas, vienen temas clásicos como Rudi a message to you, de la que los Fabulosos Cadillacs hicieran el cover Rudi mensaje para vos, también One step beyond en la mejor versión que le he escuchado, y otras joyitas y sorpresas, si les gusta el ska este es un disco que seguramente van a disfrutar.
